14th Annual Grace Church Chili Supper is a Tradition Not To Be Missed

Fri. Nov. 28, 5to 8 PM, Grace Lutheran Church sponsors their 14th Chili Supper for World Hunger Appeal and the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.


Friday November 28th, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. come one, come all to Grace Lutheran Church 493 Forest Avenue in downtown Glen Ellyn to enjoy the 14th Annual Holiday Chili Supper. The menu is: Chili, Nathan’s all beef hot dogs, corn bread, garden salads, taco salads, chips, brownies, apple crumb cake, hot beverages, water, soda and milk plus all the fixins’. Suggested donation $7 for an adult meal and $4 for kid’s meal. Carry out is available.
All proceeds from the 14 th Annual Chili Supper go to World Hunger Appeals Program and the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry. The 2013 Chili Supper had more than 300 hungry customers and $2,091 was raised and donated to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry and World Hunger Appeals Program.
The event was made possible by volunteers and sponsors’ donations to cover the costs of the supper. We are looking for donations again this year to make this a successful fundraising event. For a business sponsor, not only is the donation tax deductible, but advertising can be displayed at the Sponsors’ Table at the supper. Village residents and businesses let’s all chip in and make the 14th Annual Chili Supper a wonderful and joyous event to start off the holiday season.
