2nd Bomb Threat In 1 Week Called In To Glenbard West: Cops
Glen Ellyn police evacuated the high school as a precaution after a bomb threat was received Wednesday morning.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glenbard West High School has been evacuated after receiving its second bomb threat in a week Wednesday morning.
Glen Ellyn police posted early Wednesday that the building was evacuated as a precaution after a bomb threat was received around 11:30 a.m. As of 1:30 p.m., students and staff members were able to get to their cars and exit the property, but the buildings were still closed while the investigation was underway.
Around 2:30 p.m., police posted that the building had been given the all-clear to be accessed, but police were still investigating the incident.
