40th Taste of Glen Ellyn to Offer Eats, Carnival Rides and Two Stages of Live Acts
Taste of Glen Ellyn opens Thursday with a second entertainment stage, a pot painting lesson and eats from your favorite local vendors.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Downtown Glen Ellyn will be packed with carnival rides, live entertainment and — of course— all sorts of local cuisine this weekend for the Taste of Glen Ellyn. This marks the 40th year for the annual event, which kicks off Thursday and runs through Sunday. Residents can expect even more fun at the festival, which has added a second entertainment stage for the first time.
Hundreds of local vendors will be on hand to sell samplings of some of their top menu items as visitors explore arts and crafts, sip beverages and watch live acts on both the main stage and the community stage. Kids can get a headstart with carnival rides and games on Wednesday.
This year, the festivities also include a flower pot painting party with Bottle and Bottega, in addition to 5K, 1K and fun races for both adults and children.
