ALDI to Hold Hiring Event Monday in Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL - ALDI will be holding a hiring event Monday in Glen Ellyn.

The grocer is hiring for store associates and shift manager positions for stores across the Chicago area.

The Glen Ellyn hiring event will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, April 13, at ALDI, 700 Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn. A second hiring event will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 18, at Hyatt Place, 1851 McConnor Parkway in Schaumburg.

Store associate positions pay between $11.75 and $13 per hour while shift manager openings pay the same amount as well as an additional $4.50 per hour when the employee is performing manager duties, which varies by location.

Here is a look at job requirements for the positions:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply, high school diploma or GED
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
