Jeans for Wishes Campaign A Major Success at Glen Crest

Glen Crest Middle School staff banded together, the week of March 18 through March 22 and worked on the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s campaign, “Jeans for Wishes.”  The purpose of this campaign is to raise money to grant wishes for five children living in Illinois.

The staff raised $1,100 by pledging $20 each and wearing jeans every day for the five days of the project.  Eeighth grade social studies teacher, Pat Doyle, organized the staff and he praised his fellow teachers, administrators and aides.  “Everyone responded in a solid, positive way.  We met our goal, thanks Glen Crest,” exclaimed Doyle.
