Attend Glen Ellyn Park District’s Preschool Open Houses!

Meet teachers, pick up paperwork at Preschool Open Houses on January 29 and January 30.

If you have a child who is ready for preschool beginning in the 2019-20 school year, now is the time to enroll! The Glen Ellyn Park District offers renowned preschool programs for ages 2+ through 4+, along with a superb Kindergarten Enrichment program.

“Our Preschool Open House events will take place January 29th at the Main Street Recreation Center, and again on January 30th at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center,” said Jeannie Robinson, Assistant Superintendent of Recreation Services for the Glen Ellyn Park District. “Both events are from 6pm-7pm. Kids are welcome to attend the events with their parents.”

The information and registration session at the Main Street Recreation Center is for parents of children ages 3, 4, and 4+, and for those interested in Kindergarten Enrichment classes. The session at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center is for ages 2+, 3, and 4.

“Our Open Houses offer a terrific opportunity for new preschool families to visit the classrooms, meet our teachers, learn about our curriculum, and pick up registration materials,” explained Robinson. “I’ll be at both sessions to provide registration information and to answer any questions interested parents may have.”

Preschool registration forms will be available at each location, and forms can be turned in anytime between February 4th – 9th to participate in the open registration random draw. “We’ll have class status numbers available at each Open House, so families know which classes have open spots following our priority registration for families currently enrolled in the program.” Forms will be processed the week of February 11th.
