Attend School Safety Session At Hadley In Glen Ellyn

Administrators and police will go over the school district's updated safety protocols.

GLEN ELLYN, IL --- Hadley Middle School will join forces with Glen Ellyn police to hold a safety session for parents, staff, and students on Nov. 26. The safety meeting, which comes in the wake of ongoing gun violence in America, will cover new training techniques and safety methods that District 41 plans to implement.

According to a statement from District 41 Superintendent Dr. Paul Gordon, the November safety meeting is the second of its kind to review "new emergency response protocol" that has been put into place throughout the district. The new protocol, which aims to further ensure student safety, follows the suggested emergency responses that the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice recommend.

If you're interested in attending the upcoming safety session, head to Hadley Middle School at 7 p.m. on Nov. 26 to join other parents and community members in learning how the district aims to keep students safe.
