Bear Family McDonald's Host Slushie With a Sergeant- Bloomingdale

During this event a Sergeant and Officers from the Bloomingdale Police Department made and served Slushies to the patrons of the restaurant.

Bloomingdale, IL. – Customers and Community Members of the Bloomingdale McDonald’s on Stratford Dr. were treated to a complimentary Slushie on Thursday, August 1st, 2019 in an event called " Slushie with a Sergeant". During this event a Sergeant and Officers from the Bloomingdale Police Department made and served Slushies to the patrons of the restaurant.

The Bloomingdale McDonald’s, Owned and Operated by David Bear of the Bear Family Restaurants, is honored to take part in community-building events like these. Mr. Bear truly enjoys being part of events that engage the local Police force with the community.

“We are proud of the role we have maintained in Bloomingdale over the years, and we are happy to see the community and the local police department enjoying Slushies together. This is a great way for the community to enjoy their summer while engaging with the local officers.”

The Bear Family would like to thank Officer Dawn Odoi, who contributed to the coordination of the Slushie with a Sergeant event. The Bear Family would also like to thank Sergeant McCoy,as well as Officers Battaglia,Donald,Noonan, Odoi, and Community Officer Acosta who came to the event, made and served Slushies, and took pictures with the community members.

This event was part of the Grand Re-Opening Festivities that kicked off on Monday, July 29th with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate this beautifully remodeled restaurant.
