KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Deerfield Office Partners with West Deerfield Food Pantry During Company-Wide Week of Kindness event.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group’s Deerfield office partnered with the West Deerfield Food Pantry during the firm’s company-wide Week of Kindness. In conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, close to 500 Realtors® from 24 offices organize their own events to volunteer time and services to organizations in their respective communities. Agents and employees from the Deerfield office stocked shelves with food at the West Deerfield Food Pantry. The office also held a shredding event where people were encouraged to bring an item for donation to the Pantry when they brought their documents for shredding.
Katie Carter Roberts, Assistant Managing Broker of the firm’s Deerfield office, said, “Agents and staff from our office really enjoy supporting the West Deerfield Food Pantry in any way we can.” She continued, “Some of our agents even brought their children to take part in the event as a teaching moment and opportunity to learn about giving back to their community. It may just seem like stocking shelves, but that work enables local individuals to select food when they need it.”
