The Bloomingdale McDonald's hosted a Ronald McDonald "Book Time with Ronald McDonald" show at the Bloomingdale Library
On Thursday, August 17, The Bloomingdale McDonald’s hosted a Ronald McDonald “Book Time with Ronald McDonald” show at the Bloomingdale Library.
Many families stopped by to take part in this fun and educational experience. Ronald McDonald had the audience compete in a silly face contest where the prize was to be his helper, Abbey May, made the silliest face and was chosen to help Ronald with his Magic Coloring Book. Then the Children sat quietly and listened to a very entertaining version of "Where the Wild Things Are" read By Ronald McDonald himself. The children also enjoyed a game of "Ronald says”. To end the Book Time with Ronald show, Ralph Williams was chosen to be Ronald's helper in his Magic Hat trick where with a little magic Ronald McDonald and Ralph created a Pink and Purple Magic Hat that Ralph gave to his sister Polena Williams.
After the show, many families stayed and took pictures with Ronald. All the Kids and parents had a wonderful time.
A special Thank you goes to Librarian, Lisa Palmer, who organized the event as well as all of the other Library staff that helped to make this possible.
Please stop by the Bloomingdale Library and enjoy all it has to offer. There are many fun and exciting events for all ages as well as many books to check out.
