B.R. Ryall YMCA to hold Wood Werks Workshop

Join the B.R. Ryall YMCA for Wood Werks!

By the end of this woodworking workshop, participants will have built a Catapult Truck and Cut-off box. To complete these projects, basic hand tools will be used. Instruction will include safety procedures, measuring, layout methods, cutting stock to length, gluing, drilling, using fasteners, shaping, sanding, and finishing. Safety glasses will be required and provided if needed. This workshop is for ages 10-15 years.

Class will be taught by Roger Stigilitz, retired industrial shop teacher at Glenbard East High school and Kerry Moran, local cabinetmaker at Kevin Williams Furniture Company.
