Main Street, the Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents actress and historian Leslie Goddard as Abigail Adams, wife of the second President of the United States, John Adams. Not only was Abigail a wife to the second President of the USA, but she was a true partner and committed patriot. Always feisty and outspoken she immersed herself in politics of the day even when she ran the family’s farm. In this living portrayal, Goddard as Abigail recounts her life including her call to John to “remember the ladies,” in the new nation. Abigail shares her opinion, displays her lively wit, and is a member of the greatest love story of all time with husband, John. Tickets are $10 for adults, GEHS members and students are free.
