The Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn and the Glen Ellyn Environmental Commission are teaming up to bring a beautiful display of Fiber Art!
Glen Ellyn is for Tree Huggers
CALLING ALL FIBER ARTISTS.......
18 teams of fiber artists (1-3/team) will compete to yarn bomb 18 trees in Downtown Glen Ellyn. Each team will create a fiber art sleeve for the tree trunk with embellishments that are felted, crocheted, knitted or created with any other form of fiber art.

This fiber art exhibition will be on display August 26 - September 25th.
We encourage creative thinkers and storytellers to bring their concepts to life. All fiber artists are encouraged to join a team and apply.

All team members must be 18 and older and live within 50 miles of Glen Ellyn.
Prize Categories
Best of Show $1500
1st Place $750
2nd Place $500
Crowd Favorite $500 worth of gift certificates from Downtown businesses
The prizes for Best of Show, 1st Place and 2nd Place will be decided by a group of judges.
The Crowd Favorite will be determined by the number of votes a tree receives on the Downtown Alliance website.
