Celebrate Life at 50 Plus at Free Virtual Senior Expo April 11 at College of DuPage

College of DuPage Continuing Education will host “Wisdom, Wonder and Wellness,” a virtual senior expo, from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, April 11, via Zoom.

This event, presented through a partnership with the COD Foundation, DuPage County and the Financial Planning Association of Illinois, is free and open to the public.

Attendees will learn about resources and services available to adults aged 50 and older in DuPage County, and receive information and tips on a variety of topics, including Medicare, protection from frauds and scams, retirement planning, Social Security, travel and volunteerism.

The keynote talk, “Downsizing: The Art and Challenge of Letting Go,” presented by Certified Life Coach and founder of Open Space Organizing, LLC Cathy Feltz, will cover ways to simplify living spaces to suit individuals’ current lifestyles and needs.

In addition to life-enriching educational opportunities, College of DuPage Continuing Education offers a variety of programs to lifelong learners in the area, such as free Lunch Break Lectures, special Plus 50 programming, collaborations with the College’s McAninch Arts Center theatrical and musical productions, and discounts for adults 55 and older.
