Looking for some Holiday-style live entertainment this weekend? Think MAC:

Buffalo Theatre Ensemble presents Allan Ayckbourn's "Season's Greetings." Friends and family gather at Neville and Belinda’s home to celebrate the holidays. Hilarious mayhem is quickly unleashed due to a tryst under the Christmas tree, an unforgettable puppet show and maybe even a murder. Says director Connie Canaday Howard: “We are thrilled to be bringing this show of hilarious familial disfunction to the stage just in time for the holidays. This showcases BTE’s reputation for doing mad-cap comedy exceptionally well…and it offers our audience the chance to forget their cares and enjoy an uproarious good time.” (Please note: this play contains adult themes and language).

Performances run through Dec. 18 and are at 8 p.m. Thursday (no performance Thanksgiving day)– Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $42.

To access reserved seating in view of the interpreters for a signed performance, call the Box Office at 630.942.4000 or 630.858.9692 (TDD), or visit AtTheMAC.org for additional information.

Norris, directed by COD Theater Department Chair and professor of theater, Amelia Barrett, Thanksgiving Weekend, Nov. 25-27. This 70-minute family friendly production features a cast of more than 50 actors from across the metropolitan Chicago area. Says director Amelia Barrett, "Our production with its beautiful period costumes and wonderful special effects will warm hearts as it chronicles Scrooge’s transformation from a lonely, cold-hearted soul into a man filled with the joy of the holiday and appreciation of life’s opportunity for change.”
