COD Foundation Board Member Sues Watchdog Groups, Former Board President

Former College of DuPage Board of Trustees President Kathy Himlton and members of two watchdog groups are being sued by a former COD Foundation board member who says they damaged her reputation and caused sales to plummet for her graphics company, according to the Daily Herald.

The lawsuit filed on Jan. 1 by Carla Burkhart and Herricane Graphics Inc. lists Hamilton, members of the Edgar County Watchdog Group and For the Good of Illinois President Andrew Andrzejewski as defendants and is seeking $50,000 in compensatory damages and $1 million in punitive damages, according to the article.
