College of DuPage Hosts Fall New Student Orientation Aug. 8 to 10

College of DuPage welcomes new students to fall term during New Student Orientation sessions Tuesday, Aug. 8, Wednesday, Aug. 9, and Thursday, Aug. 10, in the McAninch Arts Center lobby, on the College’s main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

Sessions run 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day and begin with check-in and free welcome bags. Lunch is provided.

New Student Orientation at COD provides an opportunity for students and parents to learn about college life; meet with faculty, staff and current students; tour the campus; and receive input on making the most of their educational experience at College of DuPage. Attendees also receive information about a variety of topics, including financial aid, student life and student services, as well as instructions on using Blackboard course management software.

Prospective attendees should meet with an advisor and register for fall classes before attending New Student Orientation.
