Dr. G to discuss resiliency, good behavior at Sept. 13 GPS events

Three programs with Dr. Deborah Gilboa as part of "A Day with Dr. G" on Wed, Sept. 13.

The Glenbard Parent Series: (GPS) Navigating Healthy Families will present three programs with Dr. Deborah Gilboa as part of “A Day with Dr. G” on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Gilboa is passionate about mentoring young people with character.

The following is the Day with Dr. G schedule:

How to Teach Resilience to Young Children
9:30 a.m. in the Marquardt Administration Center at 1860 Glen Ellyn Rd. in Glendale Heights

Learn how to use everyday opportunities to foster positive behaviors in tweens and teens without nagging or screaming.

Health Expo
6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Arrive early at Glenbard West, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn, and receive free health assessments and giveaways from more than 25 organizations.

Start the Year Off Right: Raising Responsible, Resilient, and Successful Teens
7 p.m. at Glenbard West, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn
Learn practical tools to nurture resilience, build life skills, and help adolescents successfully launch to adulthood.
