Dramatic Production Celebrates Stacy's Tavern's Designation as National Historic Site

The Glen Ellyn Historical Society celebrates the 40th anniversary of Stacy's Tavern Museum's recognition as a National Historic Site.

The Glen Ellyn Historical Society will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Stacy’s Tavern Museum’s recognition as a National Historic Site. This landmark event includes “Glen Ellyn – A Walk Through Time From Founders to Future,” an original play by Dr. Maria Bakalis. The play portrays the pride and spirit of the Glen Ellyn community. The anniversary celebration begins Sunday, October 26, at 1:30 pm with tours of Stacy’s Tavern Museum available to the public until 2:30 pm. The museum is located at 557 Geneva Road. At 3:00 pm in the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street, the play will be presented. Along with the original dramatic production, refreshments will be served.
