Explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math April 27 at STEMCON
Exhibitions are run by actual researchers, industry representatives and STEM educators.

STEMCON, College of DuPage’s annual exploration of science, technology, engineering and math, returns to College of DuPage from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at COD’s Physical Education Center, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors will experience hands-on activities at a variety of indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits including model rockets, composting activities, welding simulators, fossil exploration, telescopes, chromatography and more. Exhibitions are run by actual researchers, industry representatives and STEM educators. View a list of exhibitors.

STEMCON also will feature a keynote discussion from the host of Netflix’s “Emily’s Wonder Lab” and FOX’s “Xploration Outer Space” Emily Calandrelli at 12:30 p.m. in the McAninch Arts Center’s (MAC) Belushi Performance Hall. Doors open at noon. Seating is first come, first served. A book signing will follow.
Following Calandrelli’s keynote presentation, at 3 p.m., there will be a demonstration from Mr. Freeze of Fermilab on the MAC stage highlighting the entertaining properties of cryogenics and extreme cold using Liquid Nitrogen.
