Glen Ellyn 4th of July Celebration!

Bring your family and friends for Glen Ellyn's favorite hometown tradition, the annual Fourth of July Celebration.

The festivities begin on Saturday, June 30, 2018 with spills and chills at the annual Lake Ellyn Cardboard Regatta and great food at the FOOD TRUCK Picnic in the Park, a fundraiser for the 4th celebration.

On Wednesday, July 4th 2018, enjoy a full day of activities, including the Freedom Four ® Four-Mile Run, Glen Ellyn's 4th of July Parade, Afternoon Festivities and Glen Ellyn's Grand Fireworks display.

Saturday, June 30th

FOOD TRUCK PICNIC IN THE PARK, 11am – 3pm

Have a bite while you watch the fun on the lake!
Enjoy Street Eats from a variety of food trucks: BBQ,
Asian, Grilled Cheese, Pizza, Tacos, Cupcakes & more.
A portion of the proceeds fund the parade and fireworks.

LAKE ELLYN CARDBOARD REGATTA, Races start at Noon

Celebrating 25 years, boat builders will vie to
keep their cardboard creations afloat. For more

Everybody loves a parade whether it is for the music,
floats, or nostalgia of the red, white and blue. Come
and watch your neighbors march with pride!

Afternoon Festivities at Lake Ellyn, 1:00-4:00 PM at Lake Ellyn Park

A family-friendly event after the parade! Free live
music. A $3 wristband required for games and
activities.

Glen Ellyn’s 4th of July Fireworks, Dusk at Lake Ellyn Park

Join us as Glen Ellyn lights up the skyline celebrating
America’s birthday! Grab your blanket and be awed
by this star spangled spectacle of fireworks. Lake
Ellyn Boathouse dock seating is available online.
