GLEN ELLYN, IL --- Glen Ellyn's Civic Betterment Party has announced its candidates for village trustee. The candidates were chosen by vote during the village's bi-annual town hall meeting on Saturday, Dec. 1, which also held a vote for library trustees.
The three village trustee candidates that will appear on the ballot are Kelli Christiansen, Mark Senak, and Steve Thompson. The library trustee candidates are Molly Hoerster, Karen Volk, Molly McGinnis Knapke, and Tim Brinker, according to a news release from the Civic Betterment Party.
The village's bipartisan Civic Betterment Party was established in 1931. Its website states that the party's mission has been to "seek candidates who would decrease the financial burdens upon residents, effect economies, decrease expenditures and improve the Village’s business practices."
