GLEN ELLYN, IL — The village of Glen Ellyn has closed the Glen Ellyn Civic Center amid ongoing concerns about new coronavirus. Village officials say the precautionary step was taken to "reduce the exposure of both the public and our staff to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)."

Currently, there are 22 cases of coronavirus in DuPage County. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker said in a press conference Tuesday that the cases were confirmed at a long-term care facility in Willowbrook.
