Glen Ellyn Fire Company Receives New Engines

The Glen Ellyn Fire Company is home to a two new fire engines that arrived on Thursday, Jan. 12.

The engines, built in Minnesota, will become the fire company's frontline lead engines, replacing the current engines which are over 10 years old, according to a village news release.

Over the next few weeks, both will be outfitted with radios and other equipment. Plus, training will occur on the new engines before they officially go into service.
