History Center Turns Into School for Colonial Manners

Saturday, Feb. 14, 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Northwest Territory Alliance features school for learning polite interaction in Colonial times.

Saturday, February 14, beginning at 10:30 AM and concluding at 3:30 PM, the Northwest Territory Alliance plans a school for teaching polite interaction in Colonial times. This unique experience takes place at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street in Glen Ellyn. Former Colonial Williamsburg instructor, Rod Faulkner guides the audience through polite interaction of a bygone era. After the basics are learned, there are plenty of opportunities to practice knowledge learned with each other. The entire day is a lesson in the rigors of colonial society. To sign up for this interactive Colonial experience send an e-mail to sewin@nwta.com. Snacks to share are welcome, but a brown-bag lunch is essential. Dress for the day can be modern or period clothing. Call 630-469-1867 for information.
