Glen Ellyn Man is Millionth Rider for Ride DuPage Program

The millionth Ride DuPage ride was celebrated during a Dec. 9 DuPage County Board meeting.

At the DuPage County Board meeting on December 9, Chairman Dan Cronin read a proclamation celebrating the millionth Ride DuPage ride.

The ceremonial one-millionth ride was taken by Patrick Byrne of Glen Ellyn, who has used Ride DuPage’s services for nearly a decade for work, medical appointments and social outings.

The Village of Glen Ellyn is proud to be part of the Ride DuPage program, a transportation service for seniors (65 and older) and individuals with disabilities who are residents of the Village.

This service which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is provided by a combination of taxi cabs and PACE mini-buses. For further information, including registration and fees, please visit the Glen Ellyn Senior Center webpage or contact 630-858-6343.
