Glen Ellyn OneChurch Provides Ashes to Go at Metra Station Ash Wednesday

On February 18, Ash Wednesday morning, at the Glen Ellyn Metra Station on Crescent Boulevard, two pastors from the ONECHURCH organization will be on hand to distribute ashes from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM. St. Marks Episcopal Church and Grace Lutheran Church will have congregation members and the pastors sharing the Ash Wednesday Ashes blessing with the commuters. The name of this event is “Ashes To Go,” and was a great success last year as a ONECHURCH project. The churches who are members of ONECHURCH are Grace Lutheran, Faith Lutheran, St. Marks Episcopal, St. Barnabas Episcopal, and St. Lukes Lutheran.Churches.
