Glen Ellyn Pedestrian Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries On I-294
Police say two trucks hit the man after he got out of his car and ran into traffic.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — A Glen Ellyn man sustained life-threatening injuries after he was hit by two trucks on I-294 Wednesday. Police say the 46-year-old man lost control of his car and hit a guardrail before getting out and running into traffic.
According to police, the man was traveling north on I-294 near Burr Ridge when the accident took place. The man was hit by a box truck and a semi truck after he exited his vehicle.

Police have not identified the victim, who was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
