Glen Ellyn Releases New Rates for Solid Waste Pick-Up

The Glen Ellyn Village Board recently updates rates for its weekly residential solid waste program during a June 2016 meeting.

Here is a look at the new rates:

Base rates associated with the village's contract with Republic Services remained unchanged. However the recycling rebate was lowered from 8 cents to 0 cents due to continued poor performance of the recycling market. New rates took effect in August.
