Glen Ellyn Woman's Club Donated $1725 to the GEHS

While enjoying the Glen Ellyn Historical Society's Vintage Auto Show, the
first public event after the terrible water damage the GE History
Center suffered in April, Glen Ellyn Woman's Club Co -President,
Rocki DeVoy and Treasurer Suzanne Carty formally presented Executive
Director of the GEHS Karen Hall with a donation from the GEWC. This
is the 125th year of the
GEWC organization and the membership voted to aid the GEHS's
renovation project. The amount of money donated is $1725.00 and Hall
was grateful to receive it. Not only was the Vintage Auto Show well
attended but there was no rain to ruin the day.
