Woman's Club Program Focuses on Polar Bears

Glen Ellyn Woman's Club presents Sandy Stevens and her program about polar bears. Tues. Feb. 3, 1:00 PM, Glen Ellyn Civic Center.

Tuesday, February 3, at 1:00 PM, the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club presents a program by Glen Ellyn resident, professional journalist and USA wrestling announcer, Sandy Stevens in a current ecological topic, “Nature in Trouble, the Plight of Polar Bears. The location of the meeting is the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street. This program is based on a week-long small group expedition Stevens took to Churchill, Canada, known as the “Polar Bear Capital of the World.” She traveled with Natural Habitat Adventures which is affiliated with the World Wildlife Fund. The GEWC meeting is open to guests and interested people should call 630-469-4516 to make a reservation.
