Glendale Heights Charity to Distribute 700 Backpacks to Students
ICNA Relief to Donate Backpacks/School Supplies to Low-Income Students in the Chicagoland Area

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, Glendale Heights-based charity, ICNA Relief, will distribute 700 backpacks to low-income students across the Chicagoland area at their mega distribution event in Chicago. The event is in collaboration with North Side Tabernacle of Praise Church, the Chicago Police Department, and several other local businesses.
Facts tell us that 1 in 5 kids in the US lives in poverty. That means buying a backpack and school supplies is low on the priority list for these families. This is where you come in! You can make a HUGE impact in the lives of needy children simply by donating backpacks and school supplies to help these struggling families send their children off to school with preparedness and confidence to learn and succeed. How will these children lead our future if they can't even focus on learning with a lack of necessary tools?
ICNA Relief has been collecting and distributing backpacks filled with supplies to low income students for 10 years. That's right, since 2009, they have collaborated with community members, organizations, government officials, interfaith groups, and local businesses to help our most vulnerable community members get a fair shot at learning and succeeding with their peers. Join them as they commemorate their 10th year of service with #OneNationOneGoal of helping every child, no matter their race, religion, ethnicity, or other differentiating factor, go to school with confidence and supplies for success. These young students will soon be the leaders of our great nation. Help equip them today, so they can lead tomorrow.
