Head to "The Friendly Confines" with the Glen Ellyn Park District

Behind-the-scenes tour at Wrigley and lunch at Murphy's Bleachers

We’re heading down to Wrigleyville for lunch and a behind-the-scenes tour of the legendary home of the Chicago Cubs, 2016 World Series champions! Before the tour, enjoy a select, all-American lunch at Murphy’s Bleachers. Then it’s time to head to the field!

Built in 1914, this must-see Chicago attraction houses more than 100 years of history. Stroll through the home of the Chicago Cubs and get the chance to see what happens behind the scenes of the Friendly Confines. On this 75 minute tour, we’ll stop by the seating bowl, press box, visitors’ clubhouse, Cubs’ dugout and field. Tours are outdoor walking tours (approximately 1 mile) conducted in rain or shine so please dress accordingly.

IF YOU GO: Fee includes transportation, lunch at Murphy’s Bleachers, gratuity, and tour admission. For ages 18 and older. The registration deadline is August 31. The bus leaves from and returns to Maryknoll Park (845 Pershing Avenue, Glen Ellyn). The event goes from 11am-5pm September 7. The fee is $58 for Glen Ellyn Park District residents and $63 for nonresidents.
