HELLO SPRING: Family Fitness Walk April 19 at Lake Ellyn

The Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society (GEIW) Junior Volunteers will host a Family Fitness Walk/Run on April 19 at Lake Ellyn Park, Glen Ellyn.

Participants can start their walk/run anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and complete laps at their own pace. Bands, food, entertainment and raffle prizes are part of the family friendly event.

This is the inaugural event of the Junior Volunteers, a new group of Glen Ellyn high school students committed to giving their time and energy to create community service events that directly impact their neighbors in need and support the fundraising and mission of the Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society.

Tickets for individuals ($10) or families ($20) are available at glenellyninfantwelfare.org and at the event, with 100% of proceeds benefitting DuPage County families in need.
