Holiday Lights Recycling Underway In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Residents can unload their used strands of holiday lights at locations throughout Glen Ellyn.

Bins are set up outside of Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center, Main Street Recreation Center and Spring Avenue Recreation Center. The following types of lights can be dropped off to be recycled:

• Mini lights
• C7 lights
• C9 lights
• Rope lights
• LED lights
• Extension cords

Holiday lights will be accepted through Jan. 31.
