Holiday Walk

Friday, November 28 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Glen Ellyn Public Library

Celebrate the season early and stop by the library before heading to downtown Glen Ellyn for the Village’s Annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony!

Enjoy live music from Vivaldi Strings, One Voice Choir, and the Glenbard South High School Madrigal Singers. Create amazing take-home holiday crafts throughout the Youth Department. Refreshments donated by Brookdale Glen Ellyn and Trader Joe’s will be available throughout the library.

Kids’ Craft Sale: Purchase crafts and jewelry made by Glen Ellyn kids for $5.00 or less. Items include jewelry, bookmarks, keychains, cards, head gear, candles, charms and more. The Kids’ Craft Sale runs from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the library’s Meeting Room.

The Gift Book Sale: Purchase neatly wrapped books for you or someone you love in the library’s Lobby. The sale runs until Tuesday, December 23. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library.

The Friends of the Glen Ellyn Public Library Used Book Sale: Buy quality, good condition used books from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the library’s Basement. Sales go to help support the library and literacy initiatives in the local community. Coupons for the book sale can be found on the back of the Glen Ellyn Public Library Event Guide.
