Incredible Bats Visit the Lombard Garden Club on Friday, Feb. 24

Friday, February 24, 2017, the Lombard Garden Club members and guests were
treated to an interactive program titled, "Incredible Bats."
The presenters, Dan and Sharon Peterson have performed these
presentations for over 20 years. They serve as ambassadors for the
flying mammals by dispelling myths, detailing their importance in
ecosystems and warning of threats to their survival. The program
includedthree live bats and
a brown and white pet skunk
named Bella. The
audience was enthusiastic about getting up close and personal with
the live animal visitors. The next meeting, Friday, March 24
features Native Illinois Butterflies. Guests are welcome and should
call 630-916-1369 to make a reservation. The meeting site is the
Lombard Commons Building, located at St. Charles and Grace Street in
Lombard.
