Jazz Up Glen Ellyn is back for a third year! Saturday, July 14th

Awesome Jazz all day long! Bring your picnic, wine and come enjoy all Downtown Glen Ellyn has to offer!

A train stop town. Historic yet filled with boutique shops and trendy restaurants serving delicious bites of food. It’s year number three for a Jazz Festival focused on letting you enjoy the finest in Jazz music surrounded by the charm of our Downtown to Treasure. Main Street Glen Ellyn will welcome you, your friends, your picnic basket, wine, and chairs to enjoy a day of pure fun and exceptional music. Curated by artistic director and jazz guitarist Fareed Haque,, twelve amazing Jazz groups will play continuously as you arrange your picnic spot and pour a glass of wine. When you are ready to stretch your legs, don’t forget to explore the many treasures that await you.

Throughout the day, free clinics will be offered for true Jazz enthusiasts or for those just discovering a new sound they enjoy. Meet the musicians, get your very own signed CD and ask questions. Don't want the outdoor live entertainment to end for the evening? No worries, the musicians aren't done yet. You can find them after 9:30 in one of five walking-distance dining establishments. Locate your favorite and move inside for little bit longer.

Jazz up Glen Ellyn has three goals. We want this to be a free event for all to enjoy by bringing music and the arts to Downtown Glen Ellyn. We want you to be able to pack your own favorite picnic treats and bring them with you. And we want to do this again, year after year. So join us, Saturday, July 14th, we know it will be a day to enjoy! For more information, visit www.jazzupglenellyn.com.
