Jazz In The Park Kicks Off June 21 In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The strains of saxophone, the twang of upright bass and the groove of muted cornets will fill the air for Glen Ellyn's annual Jazz in the Park. This year, the 16-member ensemble will play Big Band favorites at three different parks throughout the village for the free event.

Visitors are welcome to pack a picnic and a blanket or lawn chairs to chill out on the grass as they listen to the local jazz band play popular tunes. Jazz in the park will take place on select Wednesdays through August from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. If there's a chance of rain or severe weather on performance night, the jazz concert will be canceled.
