JULY 4TH CLEBRATED BY AHMADIYYA MUSLIM COMMUNITY INGLEN ELLYN

This message was carried across by a group of Ahmadiyya Muslim youth during Independence day celebrations in Glen Ellyn, IL. Like previous years “Muslims for Loyalty and Peace” and “Love for All, Hatred for None” were proudly displayed on the banners with beautifully decorated float with US flags and decorations. More than 25 young men and girls were chanting patriotic slogans like, “Long Live USA” ,”We Love USA” and “Happy Fourth of July”. The crowd received this message with big smiles and appreciated by applauding and joining in the slogans. The participants gave away candies, T-shirts, visors and balloons. Apart from these daily activities the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community also showed their love for their country by partaking in Fourth of July Festivities at the Glen Ellyn parade. Imam Nasir also delivered his afternoon lecture on the importance of showing loyalty to one’s country as it is part of Islam. He gave many examples from Quran and Hadith in order to emphasize this point and urged members to partake in programs that could benefit our country. He also said that regardless of the difference of the faith it is our obligation to pray for our beautiful homeland for its success and prosperity and also for the citizens of this country to be increasing in their faith both morally and spiritually.
