Kennedy's Camelot Subject of Program at Glen Ellyn Historical Society

Sunday, March 15, - 2:00 PM, Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main St., Pierre Salinger narrates the 1,000 days of J.F. Kennedy's adm.


Pierre Salinger was White House Press Secretary and one of the most trusted advisers of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. On Sunday, March 15, at 2:00 PM, at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn, Salinger, portrayed by veteran actor, Terry Lynch, tells the story of the 1000 days of the Kennedy Administration. Salinger’s view point about these 1000 days is the thrust of the presentation. The program includes the tragic events of November 22, 1963 as well. Learn about the close relationship Salinger had with the President, and the unique perspective he had on some of the most dangerous times in our country’s recent history.
