Last Chance To Visit Polar Plaza In 2023: Season Set To End Feb. 14
This weekend is the last chance for residents to hit the ice at Polar Plaza in Glen Ellyn before it closes for the 2022-23 season.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — This weekend, ice skaters will have one last chance to hit the ice at Polar Plaza in Glen Ellyn before the rink and its curling lanes close for the 2022-23 season.
Feb. 12 will be the last day Polar Plaza's iceless curling lanes will be open. The lanes are set to close at 7 p.m. for the season.
Skaters can still visit the rink at Polar Plaza through Valentine's Day. The rink will close for the season at 9 p.m. on Feb. 14.

Polar Plaza opened for the 2022-23 season on Nov. 25 with a celebration that featured carol singers and a visit from Santa Claus.
If you plan to visit Polar Plaza before it closes, keep in mind that skate rentals are not available onsite. Visitors can bring their own skates or call Paul’s Shoe Service, 486 N Main St., at 630-790-1030, to inquire about purchasing skates.
