Learn about wildflowers in Lake Ellyn Park this May

Glen Ellyn Park District to host free 'Spring Wildflower Walks' for adults on May 11 and May 15.

Spring wildflowers are often referred to as ephemerals due to their brief blooms and short life cycle. Lake Ellyn Park is home to many of these native plants that have faded away over the years due to human impact. Join the Glen Ellyn Park District for a free 'Spring Wildflower Walk' to learn about these often-overlooked beauties that they are working hard to preserve.

Led by the Park District’s Naturalist, Renae Frigo, 'Spring Wildflower Walks' will be held on May 11th and May 15th at Lake Ellyn Park. The 1-hour walks are open to ages 18+ and will begin at 1pm. No registration is required.
