The free event is one of many celebrations across the nation observing “National Night Out,” an event which promotes crime prevention awareness, emergency preparedness, police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Visitors to Benedictine’s second annual observation of the event will have the opportunity to view police, fire and other emergency vehicles, and interact with members of the Village of Lisle Police Department, Woodridge Police Department, Lisle-Woodridge Fire District, North Central College Campus Safety, College of DuPage Police Department, Illinois Secretary of State Police and The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County Police Department.
