New Philharmonic Performs Free Concert Under the Stars at the MAC's Lakeside Pavilion July 28
Concert includes mix of classical, Broadway pops, movie scores and more.
New Philharmonic, recently named Illinois Council of Orchestras’ 2017 Professional Orchestra of the Year performs a highly entertaining mix of classical, Broadway pops, movie scores and more at a free concert under the baton of Maestro Kirk Muspratt at the McAninch Arts Center's (MAC) Lakeside Pavilion, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. Friday, July 28, beginning at 7:30 p.m. This performance is part of the 2017 Lakeside Pavilion Free Outdoor Summer Series that continues through Aug. 11.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring a blanket and picnic to enjoy at the event. Holding of space for late comers or groups is not permitted. Concessions available for purchase on site include burgers, Chicago style dogs, desserts, coffee, soda, popcorn, ice cream, wine, beer and soda. Outside alcohol is not permitted onto the property as well as coolers, kegs, umbrellas, tents and skateboards.
All events of the Lakeside Pavilion Free Outdoor Summer Series take place rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Belushi Performance Hall and notice will be
