November 9 Holiday Craft Show @ Lombard Trinity Lutheran Church
Shoppers' delight features 70+ purveyors of handmade, homemade or one-of-a-kind items. New this year: Vendor Village and pet adoption event!
Trinity Lutheran Church of Lombard will hold the 40th annual Holiday Craft show on Saturday, November 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The popular holiday shopping event features over 70+ purveyors of handmade, homemade or one-of-a-kind items. An on-site lunch is available for purchase and children are welcome at the Kids Korner complimentary supervised activity tables. This annual craft show also features home baked goods and the Trinity women's group resale area, Aunt Teak's Beautiful Junque Emporium. New this year: Vendor Village and a pet adoption event.
"This is a one-stop holiday event. People come to shop, see, and socialize. While unique handcrafted items are the biggest draw, we have found increasing interest in products from quality vendors - especially those that sell kitchen items, wardrobe accessories, and beauty needs," shared Arlene Solyom, head of the Trinity women's group that hosts the event. "Last year we had over 500 holiday shoppers! We've found that animal rescue organizations have drawn attention from those who attend, so this year we have invited those groups to participate in a pet adoption event."
"We encourage families to bring their children," added Solyom. "Early childhood educators from Trinity's preschool through eighth grade school prepare and supervise fun holiday projects to entertain children while parents shop."
