Online Wine Sales in Wheaton Gets Nod of Approval

A new business may be moving to Wheaton that plans to sell wine online.

The Wheaton City Council on Monday approved a new liquor license clarification that will allow for businesses to provide mail order and online wine sales, the Daily Herald reports.

The move comes as a Carol-Stream-based business, Today’s Wine, considers a move to a warehouse with office space in downtown Wheaton where the business hopes to store, and process shipments of, its wine that it will sell online, according to the article.

Today’s Wine will not offer any retail traffic for the area or access for local customers to buy the wine at the downtown Wheaton location, according to the article.
