Pedestrian Crossing Upgrades Get Underway Next Week on Route 53, Roosevelt Road
Work starts on Monday.

Crosswalk improvement work is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 23 for three intersections controlled by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) in an effort to enhance pedestrian access.
The three crossings that will be addressed are Roosevelt Road/Lambert Road, Roosevelt Road/Nicoll Way and Pershing Avenue/Route 53. Once the work begins it is anticipated to be completed in 30 days.
