Police To Host Safety Session For Parents at Hadley Junior High
The safety session will share information about emergency response procedures in place at District 41 schools.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn police will host a safety session for District 41 parents and community members to inform them on safety protocol and emergency response procedures that are in place at the district's schools.
The informative session will be led by Sergeant Craig Holstead on Jan. 27 at Hadley Junior High School. In addition to reviewing safety procedures, Hostead will briefly train parents and community members on the Run, Hide, Fight protocol, which many schools and other organizations throughout the U.S. have implemented in case an active shooter or other threat is present.
