Ramp Over Finley Road Closed For Bridge Work This Weekend
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL – The ramp carrying the westbound Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) to the northbound Veterans Memorial Tollway (1-3555) over Finley Road will be closed this weekend for bridge work.
This temporary closure is necessary to provide a safe work zone for bridge repairs on the eastern end of I-88.
Beginning on Sept. 9 at 10 p.m., the ramp carrying traffic from westbound I-88 to northbound I-355 will be closed to traffic to provide a work zone for bridge joint replacement and deck repairs. .

There will be a posted detour for the weekend that will direct westbound I-88 traffic to southbound I-355 and to exit at Ogden, where traffic will then be directed east to the I-355 northbound entrance ramp.
The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. on Sept. 12.

A second closure with detour will be occur later in the fall to complete the repair work.
This construction is part of the Illinois Department of Transportation and DuPage County's plan to repair six bridges along the eastern end of I-88 in 2016. These include I-88 bridges over the Fox River, Yackley Avenue, Warrenville Road, Illinois Route 53 and I-355, as well as the Highland Avenue Bridge over I-88.
Work is also scheduled to occur on the ramp bridge over Finley Road, carrying traffic from westbound I-88 to the northbound Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355).
Resurfacing work will also take place on the ramp carrying southbound I-355 traffic to eastbound I-88.
All work will be completed by the end of 2016.
